About Us

St. Alban the Martyr Episcopal Church (St. Alban’s) is a congregation under the leadership of both locals and the Diocese of Lexington led by our Bishop the Rt. Reverend Douglas Hahn. The Episcopal Church is a member of the Worldwide Anglican Communion.

The Rev. Keila Carpenter Thomas is our Vicar. The Episcopal Church welcomes any person regardless of gender, race, or lifestyle. We are a very strong community built on love and tolerance; the Episcopal Church has a long history of being progressive. We ordain women; our communion is open to any baptized Christian, and we have a liturgy that is very beautiful. We welcome BOTH liberal and conservative viewpoints and different outlooks!

We are a community of Christians who encourage and worship with each other despite the fact that we all may not agree on everything.

If you’re a college student, professor, or anyone looking for a church home, we’d love to have you. We hold many events oriented to students of Morehead State University (and we’re really close by!) and the whole community. Bring a friend, too– we’d love to have them! Keep checking for many more service times and events! Our doors are also open for private prayer and counseling; just check in with us!
