Reading Camp Network Training and Retreat

This training is the official training for the 2013 camp season for all Reading Camp programs both inside and outside the Diocese of Lexington. It will also provide learning opportunities for those interested in starting a Reading Camp and leadership training for volunteers, especially young adults. Faith Communities and People with Disabilities: Responding to the Call for Inclusion

This seminar presented by the Human Development Institute at UK will explore the imperative for inviting people with disabilities into full involvement in faith communities in the historical context where such involvement is often unrecognized or minimized. Blessing of the Animals

All animals great and small, along with their humans, are invited to the Blessing of the Animals on the steps and grounds of the Lexington History Museum/Old Fayette County Courthouse. The Lexington Farmer’s Market will sell pet-oriented products, PetSmart will distribute free pet toys and treats, and several animal rescue groups will have adoptable animals on site. World Communion Sunday
