Reading Camp Network Training and Retreat

This training is the official training for the 2013 camp season for all Reading Camp programs both inside and outside the Diocese of Lexington. It will also provide learning opportunities for those interested in starting a Reading Camp and leadership training for volunteers, especially young adults. Each member program* is required to send at least one representative to attend the training.When: October 18 at 04:00 PM to October 20 at 04:00 PM

Christ Church Cathedral ECW: Mayor Jim Gray

Barnes Family Way Blessing and Dedication

Come to a Service of Blessing and Dedication of the Barnes Family Way at the Cathedral Domain. In memory of the Barnes family, this paved roadway will allow people with limited mobility to participate in all programs at the Cathedral Domain, including retreats and conferences at the All Saints Retreat Center. Kenya Ministry Dinner

On Friday, September 28, beginning at 6:30, Emmanuel in Winchester will host a fundraising dinner to support our diocesan ministry in Kenya. We will also welcome back our Kenyan brother, the Rev. Paul Korir, who is working on his doctorate at Asbury. There will be a delicious dinner, silent auction and lots to share as we hear from Paul with his amazing stories and enthusiasm! Second Sunday Concert: Pianist Bernardo Scarambone

Pianist Bernardo Scarambone will play the music of Austria in the first concert of the season. Donations from the concert will support the St. Thomas Lutheran Food Pantry (bring dry or canned goods) and EKU piano students, who will spend part of their summer learning about music in Austria, home of Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and many other important composers.
